Jess’ career began in international education following her life-changing experience as an international student in Lithuania in 1999. Since, Jess has worked in both the private and public sectors across Canada in student mobility, enrollment, risk management, and partnership development.

 

Jess holds a MA in Global Leadership from Royal Roads University and is the proud recipient of the Chancellor’s award. Currently the Associate Director of Compliance and Risk Management for Global University Systems Canada, Jess has a passion for providing guidance to higher education institutions on the regulatory compliance and risk mitigation front.

 

In her spare time, Jess is a loud advocate for intercountry adoption and founded an adoption support group for waiting families across Canada.
