Ining Chao

Ining Tracy Chao is an intercultural educator. Born and raised in Taiwan, Ining moved to Canada to pursue her MA in Educational Technology. She has over 25 years of experience as a learning designer and curriculum specialist. Her portfolio encompassed numerous online and blended programs in Canada and abroad. As her career progressed into the international field, Ining led internationalization initiatives on college and university campuses and specialized in intercultural training, infusing her own passion in languages and cultures with the program she provides to educators, employees and leaders.
Ining uses intercultural development as the foundation for diversity and inclusion and aims to bring about deep and meaningful change through storytelling and dialogues where multiple identities and perspectives are respected and valued. Ining is a qualified administrator for IDI assessment and received the Certificate of Intercultural Studies from the University of British Columbia. She is currently the Associate Dean of Global Partnerships and Learning Services at St. Lawrence College in Canada.
